This is the first Japanese CD (reissue/Special Edition) of Under A Blood Red Sky to commemorate the 'Rattle And Hum' album release on 1988 worldwide.
Comes with paper OBI (not stickered) w/different price printed on and Japanese folding insert.
During the performance of "The Electric Co.", Bono included a 27-second snippet of Stephen Sondheim's "Send in the Clowns" without the copyright permission, so all future releases were pressed with a new version of 'The Electric Co.' without snippet.
Anyway it's possible make a distintion between 3 different "The Electric Co.' versions (CDs in my hands & listened):
1- Complete version with full medley (1st Australian CD release or first German CD release pheraps other too)
2- Partial cut version (like this Japan release) where you can ear the last few words sung by Bono of "Send in the Clowns"
3- Full-cut version (2008 Remastered releases or other too) without any words sung by Bono of "Send in the Clowns"
The durations are not printed in the cover so I've added them directly from CD.
Made in Japan.
